The Newark Journal reported this week that the Sundown Adventureland Theme Park at Retford was voted the fourth best adventure park in the UK and 16th in World which is an amazing achievement considering the competition. The survey was carried out by Trip Advisor who rate the park 4.5 out 5 from over 1700 reviews! The park is designed for the under 10’s with fairy tale themed rides and attractions for all year round entertainment..
The park re-opened in July after the Covid 19 restrictions were relaxed. Safety is the prime concern however, with temperature checks on arrival and strict social distancing rules applying. This will not stop the kids having a great time as it has sold out every week since it re-opened.
If you are looking for a great venue for the kids, then you should definitely give this a look. It is only a 35 minute drive from the house which is perfectly located for visitors to the area.
