Our business has just turned three years old this month and we are celebrating accommodating people looking for a short stay in the Ashford area. In order keep generating bookings it is important to maintain our status as a Superhost and therefore we must, and in fact strive, to give great customer service. We have both worked for organisations that have provided great service and seen how successful they are as a result. My last job working for someone else allowed me to stay over one night in the week and I did so courtesy of many Air BnB providers. Overall, I am pleased to say the service was great and over the period I took notes of the various great ideas and really useful ‘little things’ people provided in order to make a stay even more comfortable. I also made notes of the bad things, such as a dressing table with no chair!
We have tried to cover all the bases and one of the most important is parking, so we always try and source properties with good on site parking, away from roadsides where vehicles can be easily damaged or even broken into, particularly important if it is a works vehicle. Tea and coffee are also a winner as well as comfortable beds and the most important thing for many is an excellent internet service. It can be very boring working away, in fact when I took over an office in Peterborough, I had to stay in a hotel for almost four months, pre-internet, and that was desperately dull, so I understand why workmen often travel with their Playstations or similar. We have superfast broadband in Ashford, ideal for gamers and streamers alike.
Covid has meant that we have had to change the way we do business and rather than meet and greet we provide a key safe where people can collect their keys and gain access to the properties. Also, when sourcing properties we no longer look for flats or apartments, people are after their own space these days and especially during Covid did not want to come across other people in corridors or reception areas.
