Belton House – the picture had me sold but apart from this amazing display they have great independent street food on offer, the fabulous grounds and light trail to enjoy a romantic walk, plus the usual Christmas fayre  you expect from this prestigious event.

Burghley Christmas Fair – always a fabulous venue to visit any time of year but especially so at Christmas with over 150 stalls offering luxury gifts and artisan foods. Book early as it a relatively short lived event from the 23rd to 26th  November however it is on longer than last year reflecting how successful it has been.

Boundary Mills and Downtown – a very popular destination just outside Grantham with shoppers turning up by the bus load to snap up a bargain. If you fancy doing your shopping in one hit, then this is the perfect place to get great value for your hard-earned cash.
